The CS
Light is a general purpose, low cost emergency luminaire.
Specification
Moulded in self-extinguishing polycarbonate, and fitted with
a clear Fresnel diffuser, the CS Light is for use on escape
routes. It passes the 850°C hot-wire
test, as defined by ICEL.
The diffuser is attached by captive screws and has a gasket on the base to
provide a seal to IP65. The gear tray is hinged and fully removable, while
the circuit
board has loop-in loop-out connections for ease of installation.
Cable knockouts are provided in the ends, together with a BESA entry in the
base, complying with the requirements of EN60598-2-22 and making the CS
Light suitable
for incorporation into an emergency lighting system complying with BS5266-1:2005.
The CS Light can be fitted with universal legend kits (part no. ULK) making
it suitable for use as an external IP65 exit sign. It can be readily recessed
with
the optional recessing flange.
